We checked on the cache yesterday, 4/3/2020, and it is still there. This is the fourth cache in our Christmas Break Series 2018 which we stashed during our two-week long holiday break from teaching students with special needs (both Othello's Nomads are special educators).
The owners of this property have given their consent for this cache to be stashed here. Kindly refrain from stomping on the wonderfully creative kayak-themed landscaping that is near this cache. Kayaking is moderately inexpensive and popular activity in this region and this cache is located near people who know a great deal about this activity. There are several kayaking groups nearby that meet regularly during the spring and summer for weekly paddles along the Detroit River and Grosse Ile canals. There's even at least one cache on Grosse Ile that seems to be submerged in one of the canals (we haven't checked that one out yet).
This is a park and grab cache that contains a log and some SWAG.
