THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, hidden at the bottom the trunk of a tree, which is nearly surrounded by holly, a little way off a public footpath in an open grassy public area, and very close to a little used track. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else so please bring your own pen or pencil. The grassy area can get boggy in wet weather so wellies are recommended. Beware of muggles on the path and track, and the holly and brambles, although the brambles are usually well maintained, but keep little ones safe.
THE VENUE for the BL series is a family friendly loop around Bursledon and Lowford. Some sections are road walks so beware of traffic especially in short sections with no path, and other sections are countryside paths some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended, but check the individual cache listings if not doing the full loop.
