THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, hidden one foot up, on a wire fence, at the back corner post, next to a tree. Accessible from the main path, no need to go into the wood. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else so please bring your own pen or pencil. There is a long slope to climb if approaching from the west.
THE VENUE for the BL series is a family friendly loop around Bursledon and Lowford. Some sections are road walks so beware of traffic especially in short sections with no path, and other sections are countryside paths some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended, but check the individual cache listings if not doing the full loop.
