WOOF!!! My First Hide!
I had a lot of good ideas for this hide, but my mentor kept shooting them down.
First, I wanted to make it really hard and bury a container.
Buzz said, "Nope. Guidelines say that you can't bury a cache."
Okay. Then I wanted to hide something really small (size of a thimble) in the woods and camo it really good.
Buzz said, "Well, the guidelines would allow that, but a lot of cachers won't bother to look for it, and those that do decide to look for it will probably hate you."
Me: Sigh! Can I hide something for other dogs?
Buzz: Sure, what did you have in mind?
Me: Maybe something that we can put some treats in.
Buzz: Sorry. Bad idea to put food items in a cache. It will attract bugs and vermin.
Me: Okay, I give up. Just give me a boring Tupperware container then. But, I get to pick the location.
So, I give you a boring container with no dog treats. But, it's in a really nice place. I love to come here and wander around and explore. In fact, Buzz and I come here twice a day and walk a couple of miles each time.
Me: One last thing.
Buzz: What's that?
Me: I've noticed that you use 2$ bills as a FTF prize.
Buzz: Yep.
Me: So, I want to use 3$ bills for my signature FTF prizes.
Buzz: Sorry. There's no such thing as a 3$ bill.
SIGH!!!
Cache is not too far off a trail, but you will have to figure out which trail. Hee, Hee!
