THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, hidden near the ground on some short fencing around a tree just off a public road. Footpaths are limited, depending on which direction you approach from, but it is normally quiet, but be careful, also avoid school drop off and pick up times. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else so please bring your own pen or pencil. Admire the nautical flower bed close by. There is a park and a couple of cemeteries all with seats the other side of the trees.
THE VENUE for the BL series is a family friendly loop around Bursledon and Lowford. Some sections are road walks so beware of traffic especially in short sections with no path, and other sections are countryside paths some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended, but check the individual cache listings if not doing the full loop.
