THE GEOCACHE is a two inch (5cm) long, coloured metal tubular container, hidden near the ground on a thin ivy covered tree on the north east side of a public footpath, between the 8th and 9th metal posts. This path is an extension of The Grove, but sometimes refered to as Cardiac Hill, as there is a long steepish slope to climb if approaching from the north west. There is a log roll in a plastic bag, but no room for anything else so please bring your own pen or pencil. Beware of muggles, especially at school drop off and pick up times. There are seats and a recreation ground close by, including tennis courts. See waypoints for route markers, to fill long gap to higher numbered geocache.
THE VENUE for the BL series is a family friendly loop around Bursledon and Lowford. Some sections are road walks so beware of traffic especially in short sections with no path, and other sections are countryside paths some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended, but check the individual cache listings if not doing the full loop.
