Don't Just Lie There! Do Something! Traditional Cache

When trees get old and die they fall over and take many years to decay.  Sometimes they are blown over by strong winds or struck by lightning.  It appears that they are doing nothing but in reality they are decaying putting nutrients back in the soil for future plant growth.  They also provide a habitat for small animals and become the host for parasites like fungi.
