A multi-cache leading you to some special places in Wirksworth, all of which are in public spaces and include three of the town's four churches.
The four locations give you the clues to insert into the cryptic coordinates which will then take you via a short drive out of town to a spot above the town where you can look down and see where you've been.
The physical cache is a small bison on a fence wire container with a log sheet only. BYOP.
The given coordinates take you to the first of four stages.
1 St Mary's Church
Stand with your back to the west door and look out at the grassy graveyard in front of you. Over to the right search for Sarah Hodgkinson's gravestone and find the year she died aged 31.
A = the last digit of that year.
B = the third digit of that year.
2 Move to the second location at coords N 53° 04.984 W 001° 34.372 - the URC church.
C = the number of windows on the west (LH) wall of the church.
3 The public Memorial Gardens (N 53° 04.860 W 001° 34.365),
D = the number of letter E's in the words on the gates at the end of the gardens.
4 A Church 'for the thirsty'... (N 53° 04.822 W 001° 34.394)
E = the number of main petals on the rose window visible from the street.
The letters are now numbers and should be inserted into this cryptic code which leads you to the final spot outside and above the town where the actual physical cache lies. It is a small hanging bison about 10m from a T. It had to be moved when a dry-stone waller covered the earlier cache with a new wall.
