Always Remember. . . Residents of Dogtown, a neighborhood in St.Louis, Missouri, can always remember their neighbors' sacrifice. On July 4, 2011, the Dogtown Historical Society dedicated a monument to honor 23 neighbors, members of the Armed Forces, who gave their lives for our freedom in one of the major wars in the 20th century. The name, military branch, rank, address, and date of death of each of the 23 are inscribed on the monument in this pocket park. At the base of the shrine are engraved bricks to commemorate other Dogtown residents for their military service. Always remember our neighbors' sacrifice.
