While out for walks near the Wirral Country Park and the Dee, the kids are always interested to observe the local wildlife and nature. On this occasion they noticed an unusual visitor.
This cache is on a (quiet) stretch of road with no pavement, so please exercise caution and common sense while retrieving. This cache is not well situated for caching with small children or pets so please be especially careful if attempting with any of these in tow! Remember, caching is undertaken at your own risk and neither the cache owner nor groundspeak accept any responsibility for any injuries sustained. Please stay safe when caching. If approaching from the Gayton Lane end of Cottage Lane, be aware that the short stretch before the golf club can be much busier than the rest of the road due to golf club traffic. The difficulty and terrain ratings partially reflect the difficulties in accessing the cache.
There is no parking next to the cache, anyone wishing to attempt a drive-by would be advised either to park on Gayton road and walk down, or to use one of the small number of parking spaces next to the Cottage Lane entrance to the Wirral Way. Be aware this parking gets quite a bit of use from dog walkers and as such is not always available.
Please take the trouble to return the cache exactly as found to ensure it's not exposed to prying eyes!
Thanks and please enjoy finding this one.
