Welcome to the Caching Around Campus Series! FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, IT IS HIGHLY ADVISED THAT YOU COMPLETE THIS SERIES IN NUMERICAL ORDER. These Geocaches are placed on the scenic, tree-lined grounds of Canton’s Hometown University. The series includes several different container types as well as various hiding locations. Many of the hides appear along the perimeter of the property so that they do not interfere with daily operations. We hope these caches fill a void in this area of Canton as well as promote Geocaching on and around campus. It is important to note that a majority of the caches in this series are park and grabs; however, additional walking is needed for numbers 4, 5 and 6. Logical judgement will tell you how to best park and access each individual one; however, where parking is less clear, parking coordinates are provided. It is important to recognize that as Geocachers, we are guests, and it is important to respect the property. We hope that these caches give everyone a glimpse of this beautiful campus!
IMPORTANT:Â The placement of these caches is contingent on the fact that ALL GEOCACHERS comply to all campus rules:Â 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT, VARIOUS TRAFFIC PATTERNS, and NO NIGHT CACHING.
While the caches are in the less busy areas of campus, please use stealth when accessing them.
Please place the cache back just as you found it.
Bring a pen / pencil to sign the logs.
