Stop, don't drive any further, this is an area where migratory birds nest. In front of you is a Cyclone resistant sign which tells you all about the birds that visit this area. The view is fantastic across to Fraser Island and if you could get there, there are a couple of caches I still need to find. The only way to get them is by boat and on my visits to the Island or here, it's a TOTT that I can't access. For now you will just have to be happy with looking at the birds, Island and finding a cache.
