A quick park & grab near the Valatie Medical Arts building, at the edge of the "Land of Chippup". There is no safe street parking immediately near the cache. Your best approach is to enter the parking lot through the River Street entrance (see waypoint). After finding the cache, take a moment to walk up the steps to the bridge for a view of the Valatie Kill tumbling down the last of its little falls and rushing into Kinderhook Creek (in old Dutch "Vaaltje" means "Little Falls", which is how the village got its name.)
The cache is dedicated to Chippup, who helps to keep me fit by opening paths for long walks and placing caches just at the edge of my reach to make me stretch. To him and all a happy and healthy 2019, and may you never need to get into the building.
