Francis King Park is a local favorite. It's only about a 10-minute drive from town and is easily explored any time of the year. This series of 8 "Flight Song" caches will take you on a hike through the park. In the lid of each cache, you will find a letter and number. There are 6 numbers to collect to solve the puzzle to find the final cache.
The walk around the park to get all 8 caches and the final takes about 2 1/2 hours and covers about 6 km.

What is the "HAG"?
HAG stands for Hide And Go. It's a local Geocaching event where geocachers hide caches during November, December and early January each year. They are all published on one day, the first Saturday in February.
I cached for many years before discovering the HAG and missed out on a lot of fun. I stumbled on HAG day 2017 by accident and actively went looking for them in 2018. This is the first year that I have hidden caches for the HAG.
This cache is off the trail a bit.
