A Little Bit About the Cache

I was in the area for a different reason today, and for some reason I thought about a cache that used to be here. I decided to pull over and check to see if the cache was still here. Well, it wasn't. I had some containers in the truck, so I decided to place a new one here. This is a "short", easy multicache. I hope you like it!!

PLEASE PARK AT THE PARKING LOT JUST INSIDE THE PARK ON THE LEFT AND WALK TO THIS CACHE. DO NOT PARK ALONG THE ROAD !!

Determine the NORTH Coordinates:

Go to the given coordinates, and you should be standing in front of two small metal signs mounted on the same post. Answer the following questions based on what you see on these signs.

The north coordinates for this cache are: N 42 AB.CDE

A = The number of signs that are circular.

B = The number of letters on the second line of the sign with red letters.

C = The number of letters on the first line of the sign with red letters.

D = The number of lines of words on the sign with red letters

E = The total number of legs shown on the sign with black letters MINUS 1.

COMPLETE CHECKSUM FOR THE NORTH COORDINATES = 25

Determine the WEST Coordinates:

Turn around and look across the road to the park entrance. You will see two more signs. One of the signs is fairly large, and made up of 3 sections. The other sign is relatively small, and is red. Walk over there and answer the following questions based on what you see on theses signs.

The west coordinates for this cache are: W 080 FG.HJK

F = The total number of numbers that are on the two signs combined.

G = Two times the total number of letters on the smaller of the two signs.

H = Two times the total number of trees shown on the larger of the two signs.

J = The number of letters in the name of the township that this park is in.

K = The total number of letters on the larger sign that are green MINUS 1.

COMPLETE CHECKSUM FOR THE WEST COORDINATES = 39

Finding the Cache

• After you determine the coordinates for the final you should be easily able to walk to the final. It is a very short distance away.
• The cache is hidden close to the park road.
• The cache is a small plastic container which is hidden in a typical "in the woods" fashion.
• Please be sure to rehide the cache in a similar fashion to what you find. It should be fairly well hidden with natural cover.
• At certain times of the year you might have to be careful because of muggles in the area.
• The cache will be harder to find if there is snow in the area.
