This cache is at the causeway bridge where the water flows East to West. If there are any rapids to be seen at the Great Salt Lake, this is the place to find them. Sometimes you may think the water is not moving at all. Other times the water appears to flow West to East. During a really cold winter this area may appear to be PLUGGED with ice as nature forces the ice to collect along the shore.

The ice can accumulate to be several feet high on the shoreline North and South of this location. Today there was ice but no thicker than an inch. There is a lot to see at this location so be sure to stop and check it out. Cache is very small with a log only, so bring your pencil.
