This book-themed cache combines the love of geocaching with the love of books. This is an easy cache that has the bonus of offering you something interesting to read and take with you, if you choose to.
This is a place where you can take a book or leave a book. In fact, if you are planning to visit this geocache, it'd be nice -- although not required -- for you to bring along a used book or two to donate to the Little Free Library, which operates on a "take a book / leave a book" basis. Books for all ages and interests are welcome. ENJOY!
If you'd like, in your online log tell me what one of your favorite books is -- no matter when you read it -- because sometimes some of our fondest memories of books are from our childhood.
Don't worry about muggles. No one will know if you're visiting for a book or for the cache. Although the cache "container" is size "2", there is only room for the log and a small pencil. When you find the cache, I hope you will come back often for a book.
This Little Free Library is dedicated to Danielle Peeples who taught second- and third-graders for Orange County Schools from 2005-2012. She was named her school's Teacher of the Year her final year before being diagnosed with breast cancer. Danielle loved reading and instilling that love in her students.
