The castle town of Inuyama was surrounded by fences and moats, and one of the gate to the surrounding villages is " Yozaka gate".
When looking at the west from the cache point, you can see a crank-shaped road for defense.
In the south of cache there is a garage of Yozakacho Precinct “Hotei” for Inuyama festival.
犬山の城下町は町全体が塀や堀で囲われ（総構え）、そこから周辺の村々に出入りするために設けられた門戸の一つが「余坂の木戸」です。

cache pointから西を見ると、防衛のためカギ型に曲がった道が見られます。
cacheの南には犬山祭に出る余坂の車山「宝袋」の車庫があります。
