This is a quick grab in Bedford Cemetery. The cache is near the grave of Hellen E. Gensimore who passed at only five years of age. Hellen's grave is a unique and beautiful memorial that seems to attract lots of visitors whom leave toys and baubles on her headstone. Her father was a physician and a veteran. Her mother was a member of DAR.
In additiion to this family, Bedford Cemetery is the resting place to many veterans, including a large number of Civil War veterans. One passed early in the war in South Carolina, and one passed very late in the war in Harper's Ferry. There are graves of many firefighters, physicians, attorneys and other prominent individuals from Bedford's long history.
The cache is placed so as to not interfere with or disturb any graves. Please be respectful of the grounds. NO NIGHT CACHING.
