The tree was planted in 1984 when the houses were built in this street. The tree reminds us of our time in the Jakaranda City - Pretoria, South Africa, where we studied before returning to Windhoek, our home town. When in bloom the tree has beautiful purple flowers and brown pods that we use regularly for decorations and arts & crafts. The cache is not inside the property and you can park on the sidewalk or next to the gate.
