Geocache Description:

This cache was placed at a high point in Arlington at Fort Scott Park, which was constructed during the Civil War to guard the south flank of the defenses of Washington DC.  Today this is a popular local park with playground, ball field, basketball court, and tennis courts.  The park's hours of operations are sunrise to sunset, so please comply with park rules. This cache was established on my son's birthday and he was excited to plant it and see what happens!

There is parking at this park.  The trailhead to access the cache is at the southeast corner of the tennis courts.  The trails are established so no bushwhacking required.  There is a block wall behind the tennis courts that has lots of nooks and crannies.  You do not have to place your hand into any unsavory places, but it is hidden from view from the path.  Please return as found and don't try to place it deep within the wall where it will be lost.
