The mighty EOTS has been sighted and has taken on guarding a geocache. Only through wacky and mysterious adventures can it hopefully be bested.
This is a choose your own 'how' whereigo. Things are not always straight forward, and it's recommended you read this entire cache listing before attempting this one.
This cache tries to have a little bit of everything. The physical cache itself is traditional. The options of how to find it, include a letterbox style, a puzzle style, a longer multi style, all with a touch of whereigo thrown in.
The actual tasks involved with this whereigo are not that difficult. However, patience and persistence will be required. For many, getting started may be the difficult part. That old coot ... well what can I say.
Once you 'get started' the how you proceed is up to you.
One option allows you to proceed rather straight forward. It's just the longer option with many more stops.
The other option allows for you to attempt to find the cache letterbox style, with clues directing where you should look.
The last option is a kind of reverse geocache style, telling you how far away you are from things... but not which direction.
Every option has it's own spin or twist. Some more difficult, some more random, some vague, some more direct. There is more information available while you play.
Important WhereIGo playing information:
This cache was made to be a challenge, with more than one way to complete it. Please take note of the following before even attempting to play it:
- Sometimes options will change. What you selected before may reveal new options if selected again.
- Sometimes you have to wait. Even after you have selected something. Sometimes you don't have to 'do' anything BUT wait. We're not talking hours here, but don't assume because nothing has happened, that nothing will.
- Explore EVERY option in the player. Clues can be hidden where you may not expect them. Checking items, characters, tasks, and locations etc. Get to know your whereigo! :)
Some things are meant to be difficult, but having this many options allows for more potential bugs. The author tried to squash as many of these as possible and continues to do so. WhereIGo is a grumpy beast sometimes. PLEASE report any bugs you experience. As a last resort, you can attempt to restart the cart and pick an alternative method to solve it. I hope to get it to a point this disclaimer is not necessary, but until that point, don't hesitate to contact me for assistance!
