Woodburning Workshop

Upon arrival, go to the Seminar Room which is on your right-hand side as you enter the store.

Come to LVT to try your hand at the skill of woodburning! Participants will be given access to the woodburning irons and will have their choice of several pre-cut wooden shapes to use. You can hand-burn your own design into the wood. Will you make a Valentines greeting for your love? Perhaps you'll make a proxy tag for your trackable? This is a great opportunity to make up a custom proxy tag for that coin you don't want to put out, or a trackable that has gotten lost. (Trackable numbers are not provided - please bring your own!) If you have your own object that you wish to use, you are welcome to bring it.

There will be a $7 cash fee for each person wishing to participate in the woodburning activity. This amount covers the cost of the room and supplies. You are welcome to attend the event free of charge if you do not wish to participate in the woodburning activity. Please indicate in your Will Attend log if you will be participating in the woodburning activity and how many people will be attending with you.

All geocachers are welcome to this event (including families of course!).
For safety reasons, all children who wish to participate in the woodburning activity must be under the direct, one-on-one supervision of a parent/guardian at all times.

Please bring your trackables for trade and/or discovery!

NOTE: We need a minimum of six (6) people to participate in the woodburning activity in order for this to occur. Should we not meet the minimum two days prior to the event, it will be moved to a nearby location as a normal social event only. An announcement will be made if this occurs.
