Fortaleza árabe datada en el siglo XII-XIII. Exteriormente se puede apreciar una impresionante torre de mampostería ripiada, y perímetro con lienzos de arranques de muralla que aún se conservan. En el interior presenta un aljibe con restos de pintura desde el que baja una escalera labrada en el terreno hacia unas galerías interiores donde aún se conserva un recipiente en forma de ánfora inserto en la pred y una conduccion por la que llegaba le llegaba el líquido.
Si se sube hasta la contigua plaza de la Iglesia, se obtienen unas vistas de toda la vega y al norte, se contempla el pantano del Negratín rodeado por todo el conjunto de badlands.
It is an arabic fortress dating from the 12th-13th century. In the outside, we can see an impressive tower made of cobblestone masonry and surrounded by pieces of a wall which are still preserved. In the inside we find a well with remains of paintings from where a stair goes down, carved on the ground towards an inner gallery where an amphora inserted on the wall is preserved as well as a conduction system from where it received liquid.
If you go up to plaza de la Iglesia, you will reach a viewpoint of the meadows and, at the north, you will be able to see the Negratin lake surrounded by a badlands landscape.
