Preamble:
- This CARW2019 cache will be published about 6pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
- This cache has been placed for the CARW event with the intention that it not be located prior to 9:00 a.m. Saturday February 23, 2019. The caches for the CARW event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes and strategies prior to the event start.
- Should you hunt and find this cache before the event start, it will not count for the event, and FTF points are only valid as of 9AM February 23rd.
Wait, does this cache seem familiar? Maybe... This was one of my early caches found, and the first I dried out and replaced due to ice, and learning to contact cache owners, boombear in this case. Alas, it could not stay because the caches stayed a bit too well. In fact, you might even still be able to get them, but that's another story.
Even though the cache is way down, near the ground, you won't have trouble getting it even in high snow, but bring tweezers. (Please be very gentle, especially if it's cold!) You can access it by any roadworthy vehicle, from very large trucks to motorbikes that have driven from Scotland to Africa - that was the Long Way Down miniseries. An actor you know well was in this show, but you might know him better from another show.
