IMPORTANT NOTE - May 2023
YIKES! This cache has got a lot more difficult. It's still an easy find; however the railway line is currently closed, with trains being replaced by a bus service. The bus stop for Tonypandy station is currently within line of sight of GZ, and extreme stealth is necessary because cache hunters will be under the direct gaze of people waiting at the bus stop.
PLEASE be as stealthy as possible because this is a cache that goes AWOL far too often.

Tonypandy station is on the Porth-Ystrad Rhondda section of the Cardiff-Treherbert line, which is part of the Valley Lines network.
Trains run at roughly half hour intervals in each direction except on Sundays when the service is limited to every two hours.
The length of the platform at Tonypandy might cause a few raised eyebrows: it was designed to accommodate six to eight-car trains, none of which have ever been seen here! The normal train length is two carriages; during rush hour you might be lucky enough to see four-car trains.
If crossing the main road, I suggest using the pedestrian (zebra) crossing, as the road can get very busy at times.
About SideTracked caches
SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-Dashes at Train Stations. If hiding one PLEASE BE SENSIBLE and remember that in this day and age, public transport is under greater scrutiny than ever before, so, although these caches should be quick and easy grabs, PLEASE don’t place a Cache where it could cause alarm.
