Part of the "Walking with Northwood" series.
This is one of the many access points to the Hamilton Gardens. It's on the outer reaches of the gardens... Mr and Mrs Northwood walk this way most days. Perhaps you may spot them. Although Mr Northwood is 6 foot 2 and has a long stride, Mrs Northwood is usually speeding off ahead.
The main feature of the Hamilton Gardens is the enclosed area showing different garden styles, but there are extensive grounds to wander through, including up to and beyond this sign. It seemed a good spot to try and wedge in another cache for visitors. There are great views of the river and several other caches to find in the vicinity.
The last part of the walk from the gardens is not suitable for wheelchairs. Also the placement is close to the Hamilton East Cemetery, but you do not need to enter that area. Please respect it.
A tool is with the log to help with extraction and rolling the log back up well. Please replace the tool for the next cacher and put the cache back carefully and tightly. You will need to bring your own pen.
Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
