ThurgoodWhitechapel: This cache had gone missing some time after the last 'found it' log. On learning (and cofirming) this, I selected a new container, wrapped it in the necessary camo tape and two small magnets to hold the container and it's contents 'securely' in the alotted hide hole, made and inserted new log strips, closed the container, placed the repaired container and it's contents in it's hiding place, and headed home to log and publish an 'Active' log.
A day or two more, I returned to the cache site, and was surprised the find the site was again cache-less.
A few years back, an earlier cache of mine in a nearby location (in this park) went through a longer 'missing, replace, missing, replace... experience. I guess I had more patience that year!
But this year, enough (cache disappearing twice in a short period) is enough.
