Episode 19 Review:
- "This is the most luxurious and well maintained hideout yet. Thank you for the visit and the cache." - Rhinograde (i.e. go look at the hideout, even if you find the cache first - especially since the hideout is so close....)
Two Autobots were captured by a demented Decepticon that was obsessed with torturing his victims just like in the Saw movie series. While saying "Do you wanna play a game?", he strapped chest pieces on the Autbots, rigged with a shotgun aimed directly at their central core. If the Autobots fail the Decepticon's game, the guns will fire, killing both Autobots. (Rumors are that in addition to enjoying the Saw movies, the Decepticon likes to geocache in his spare time, and often gets inspiration from buddysally puzzle caches... he doesn't want other Decepticons to know this though...)
The Autobot were shown a map of one of the floors of the demented Decepticon's 'Torture Warehouse'. This floor consists of 5x4 adjacent rooms, for a total of 20 rooms. Each Autobot will be given 10 RFID chips, each labeled 1 through 10. After discussing with eachother, they are to both choose their starting rooms. In their starting room, each Autobot must place the RFID chip labeled 1 in a RFID chip reader. There is a chip reader inside every room. They are to then go to an adjacent room (this means they cannot directly go to a room that is in a diagonal position to the room they are in); and when an Autobot moves to the next room, he must then place the RFID chip labelled 2 in the RFID chip reader. Each Autobot must continue doing this until he has placed all 10 RFID chips. If he misplaces the RFID chips, such as putting one that is labelled 3 in his 2nd room, the shotgun will go off. Additionally, the gun will go off if at any point he enters a room that already has an RFID chip in it (such as one of his previously visited rooms, or any room visited by the other Autobot), or if they fail to place all 10 chips each.
The difficult part is that 3 of the rooms have a number painted on the floor in black ("6", "9", and "10"). This means the Autobot that visits that room MUST place the RFID chip with that number on it in the reader, otherwise they both blow up.
Because the Decepticon was sure that the Autobots would not escape, he revealed the location of the Energon Cube that he stole. He used bodily fluids from his previous victims (ex: oil) to write the letters A through F in some of the rooms. He told the Autobots that the Energon Cube can be found near a hidden Autobot hideout (one that they have yet to visit) at the following location:
N45° 20.(A)(B)(C)' W075° 50.(D-1)(E)(F)'.
Here is the picture that was shown to the Autobot before he was placed in the room of his choice:
The Decepticon said that they would need to inspect the hidden Autobot hideout in order to determine the actual location of the hidden Energon Cube which is located here:
N45° 20.5(G)(H)' W075° 50.(I)(J)1'
Where:
G = 4 if the Autobot Hideout has a roof, or 1 if it does not
H = 5 if the Autobot Hideout has an actual door, or 2 if it does not
I = 1 if the Autobot Hideout has windows, or 0 if it does not
J = 6 if the Autobot Hideout is on the ground, or 3 if it is off the ground
Much to the Decepticons disbelief, a few hours later the Autobots escaped the warehouse unharmed. The Autobots never went to find the hidden Energon Cube, believing it just to be another trap.
