One of a pair of caches with easy access from the A39 truck layby at the bottom of Puriton Hill. 'South' is a Cache & Dash from the lay-by. Sorry, no room for TBs or exchanges at the moment. The route to 'North' is along a well signposted but indistinct footpath through an open short grazed field, requiring a moderate climb. The field is often empty, but check for cattle or other animals at the stile if you are concerned.
If a longer walk is wanted, the route will lead you to a more level path on top taking you to a few long standing caches created by other COs.
During peak times you may also be able to purchase refreshments or garden ornaments from the layby.
