Geocache Description:

We moved to Grove in 2015 and we think it's a great place to live!  We walk around Grove most evenings and wanted to share our love of Grove with geocaching friends.  This is a short series that meanders through the roads we use for our evening walks.

Please do bring small tweezers or a pin to extract the log book.  The container is the same throughout the whole series and I both designed and created them.  There was not much room inside, so unfortunately there are no writing implements, so bring your own pen.

The roads on this part of our walk interestingly keep making their way towards the busy A338 road, but turn at the last moment to avoid it.  This is the first of three turns we make on our usual walk towards Mayfield Avenue.  You're also getting into old Grove at this point.  Lots of bungalows exist around here, but also lots of property improvements go on.  If you choose to investigate the nearby woods on the other side of the A338 after finding this cache, you can nip across at a fairly unobvious public footpath leading South-East away from the corner of Mayfield Avenue, behind some private garages.
