Blue Crow Expedition: This part of the Milwaukee River Greenway is called Cambridge Woods. It's a beautiful, unspoiled area. There are paths that lead off toward the backs of 100-year-old houses in the neighborhood nearby. To me, it feels tranquil and nostalgic.
I thought a lot about how to make this hide. It couldn't be too small, or visitors would trample all over the plants looking for it. It couldn't be too obvious either, or passersby would spot it from a hundred yards away. I was happy with the solution I came up with. If someone else hides something here, I hope it is respectful of this area.
The geocache I placed here looked enough out of place that it would have attracted attention if someone walked close to it. I suspect neighbors and hikers have stumbled onto it from time to time. If that's true, no one ever stole it or made a mess of it. I'm glad about that.
