Geocache Description:

From road 864 there is a path to an ancient cave in Pekiin, where according to Jewish tradition, a miraculous tree grew, which fed Rabi Shimon Bar Yochai (Rashbi) and is his son, while they hid from the Romans in the cave. They drank from the nearby spring. Rabbi Shimon was originally one of those who strongly opposed the rule of the Romans in the land of Israel. But after the Bar Kokhba revolt was among the preachers of acceptance of the foreign rule.
