The cache is located within sight of Whyburn Reservoir which is a covered reservoir. "Whyburn" derives its name from Wy—water; and burn— a stream.
There are expansive views over the City of Nottingham to the East extending to beyond the Trent Valley.
The location is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible.
