Geocache Description:


Bordon Inclosure F3. This is one of the “Free Caches” in the Bordon Inclosure for you to try out geocaching.

This is a Letterbox cache, and is hidden near the coordinates given, see below and then the hint for more info
Note the BONUS information in the Cache.

The cache is ??-5 meters in the direction the "Slow worm" is looking, then 4m North.

The information board has been removed, From the GZ look East to a metal gate, close to the gate is a small log, the cache is hidden behind the log beside the post.

A Letterbox Cache is a container with a logbook and also a small stamp, it may also have some items to swap.

This cache is part of a few series of caches covering the Whitehill and Bordon area, and cover the Bordon Inclosure (BI), the Hogmore Inclosure (HI) and the Deadwater Valley (DW) , these have been planned and placed with the kind permission and assistance of the Deadwater Valley Trust and their volunteers, and each of the areas has a theme.
The Bordon Inclosure theme is Birds and Wildlife
The Deadwater Valley theme is Trees and Plants
The Hogmoor Inclosure theme is Military and History

The three areas are different habitats, they offer some beautiful walks and areas of activity. They are also a haven to various abundant Birds, Mammals, Reptiles and Amphibians so keep a lookout as you walk about. There are three “Free Caches” to find in this area and each will have some bonus information inside. Together the information from the Bordon Inclosure the Hogmoor Inclosure and the Deadwater Valley “Free Caches” will lead you to a Bonus Cache. The “Free Caches” on both the Bordon Inclosure and the Hogmoor Inclosure are wheelchair accessible although the paths may be harder to use if it has been wet.

When looking for the cache try not to look too conspicuous, if asked just say you are Geocaching.
When you find the cache please sign the log book with your “Caching name/your Name” & “the date” in the next available space. you can also use the inclosed stamp to stamp you own logbook
There may also be some swappable items in the cache if you have something to swap or leave, but no sweets etc.
Make a note of the Bonus information, and please re-hide as found.
Now you can also electronically log this cache on your device app to turn the icon into a smiley face 😊 to do this select “LOG” or “Log this cache”, fill in the details and add a message about adventure without giving away the locations or answers etc some people will also add TFTC which means “Thanks for the cache”
