Geocache Description:

The geocache is located along the old railroad bed in Jonesville which was made into a walking path and named, Jerry Russell Trail.  It is a lovely paved walking trail. that is 1.4 miles long.  This cache is named in honor of Harry Selfridge who attended Jonesville Schools for a time.  Upon his retirement at the request of one of his employees, Richard Varnum, a local merchant, crated a desk out of the old Jonesville School House and sent it to London to be presented to Mr. Selfridge at his retirement party.  Though he dropped out of school at the age of 14, he went on to to open Selfridges in London, England in 1909, which still remains one of London's most popular departments stores.  At the time it was the largest department store in London and remains the second largest in London at this time. He is credited with coining the phrase "The customer is always right".  The container is a regular sized lock and lock.

Congratulations to savagebandit for being first to get your hand on it and to Moldslug and butlerbandits for sharing along with for being FTF!
