Another late night game at the arena. Love it. Love being a goalie Mom (one of my fellow EEH can totally relate to this as well, and has probably frozen her arse here too!).
I pulled in, and it seemed it was not the right time to hide the cache. Vehicles were started and waiting for their kiddos to emerge. I figured my departure at 11pm was probably the best time to hide this sucker. Into the arena I went. WHAT a game!! Goalie guy had the night off, and his partner had it going on between the pipes until 2:33 left in the 3rd with a 5-5 tied game. Out of nowhere an opposing player came and totally took out the goalie. He lay motionless for what seemed longer than a few seconds, and was eventually assisted off the ice by the trainer, and checked over by a parent who is able to do so by profession. Hoping he is ok after being further assessed.
Goalie Guy emerged from the bench to finish the game, and keep that puck outta the net! Mission accomplished! After 5 saves the game finished and hey a tie is better than a loss.
Oh and nice try Goalie Guy...this does not count as a shutout...(he tried his hardest to be granted his shutout $).
Well, after waiting for the non rushing Goalie Guy, the parking lot was pretty much empty! I strolled over and placed this cache for you to find.
