McKenzies Beach is one of the small jewels on the Eurobodalla Coast. It got its name from a family that farmed the area and had this beach just in front of thier house. Some of the old fences remain. Now it is a popular beach for surfers, rock scramblers and people who just like to sit and stare out to sea. (That might be a hint about proximity.) This is the first geocache I have placed with my grandchidren who have been coming here (as did thier parents) since they were very small. They have helped find other local caches as well as some in remote Australia on our holidays. The cache is in a small/medium Klipit container and there are some small swap items. When you find it spend some time just admiring the view, catching a wave or go looking elswewhere in the area for Hugo's cache and the one on the point. Have fun! We enlpyed figuring out a spot to hide it and sharing the view. You can park in the parking area at the back of the beach but in summer make sure you do not park in the no parking area along the roadside or you will be fined.
