Geocache Description:

General Info:
This is a series of 23 geocaches.  The entire series is 2.5 miles if you do both loops, with each loop being 1.2 miles.  You can drive right up to this cache, which is the center of the series, in anything that drives.  I recommend an SUV or something with a little ground clearance for easier parking.

That's about it! This is a fun, quick series that you can do in one or two easy trips. There is a little sand and some gravel while walking out here, but there are NO big washes or ravines to cross and no hills to climb.

Please do look out for snakes, thorns, and other stuff that might hurt.

The elevation of this series is around 3,000' so it's within the possible area of the desert tortoise. I did not see any signs of the desert tortoise when placing these caches, but if you happen to run across one, remember they are a protected species. You can look and take pictures, but do not touch or interfere with them.

All of these caches are 1.5" x 1.5" small plastic jars hidden under (protected by) rocks. You know... SPORs (Suspicious Pile of Rocks) Please return each cache as you found it, to keep is safe.

Getting here:
The easiest way to get here is to get off 95 at the Snow Mountain exit. Then immediately take the North 95 entrance ramp, but DON'T get on the highway. At the end of the ramp just move on to the shoulder and at the way-point called "Turn Here!" (or a little before it), turn off the shoulder and drive about 100yards to the dirt road.

To get back on 95, when you come out of the dirt road and you're facing the highway, turn right on the gravel access road towards the green sign you'll see. At the sign there is smooth and easy access up onto the roadway.

And Lastly, if you find a problem with a cache (like it's missing or broken or something) let me know; in addition, you could also leave a 'Needs Maintenance' log, if you wish. Since maintenance of the entire series is my responsibility, I will happily pop over and take care of it!

Have fun, Stay Strong, and Cache On!

Ok, ok, one last NOTE: These caches were all hidden on the Martin Luther King Day, Holiday.... good to know if you're working on a challenge to find caches hidden on holidays.

Hey! I didn't see a tortoise when hiding this series, but "TheKogs" spotted this big guy near #16 in March 2020.
Thanks for sharing!
