Pannonhalma Pax Trail
Ez a ládasorozat a Pannonhalma melletti Illak erdőt mutatja be.
A sorozat neve a közeli Pannonhalmi Bencés Főapátságban működő bencés rend (Szent-Benedek rend) címeréhez kapcsolódik.
A mai Illak a Pannonhalma, Tarjánpuszta és Ravazd települések által körülvett erdőterület. Valamikor önálló helységként tartották számon, valószínűleg már a 12. században létezett. A település a történelem viszontagságai közepette végül eltűnt.
Ma már az Illak az Illaki erdőt jelenti. Az erdőgazdaság területén kialakított turistautakon pedig több beszélő névvel is találkozhatunk.
Fontos tudnivalók:
- A ládák az erdőben lévő túraútvonalak mellett 20-30 méteren belül találhatók.
- Az erdőben vadászok is tartózkodhatnak, ezért ha vadászokat láttok, akkor nem ajánlott a túrázás, illetve ők maguk is kiküldhetnek az erdőből. Októberben gyakrabban találkozhattok velük, leginkább naplemente előtt 1-2 órával érkeznek. Ezek az időszakok kerülendők!
- Tollat hozzatok magatokkal!
- Hosszúszárú nadrág javasolt, sok helyen tüskés a terep.
Pannonhalma Pax Trail
This geotrail will show you the Illak forest near Pannonhalma.
The name of the series refers to the coat of arms of the Benedictine Order functioning in the nearby Pannonhalma Archabbey (Saint Benedict Order).
Today Illak is a forest area surrounded by the settlements Pannonhalma, Tarjánpuszta and Ravazd. In the past it was an independent settlement which probably already existed in the 12th century, then disappeared in the midst of the hardships of history.
Nowadays Illak means the Illaki forest. We can meet many talking names along the tourist trails of the forestry.
Important information:
- The caches are located within 20-30 meters of the hiking trails of the forest.
- There can be hunters in the forest, so if you see them, hiking is not recommended. Moreover, they can send you out of the forest. In October hunters are more likely to show up, or rather they arrive 1-2 hours before sunset. These periods should be avoided!
- Bring your own pen!
- Long-legged trousers are recommended as the terrain is thorny in many places.

Die Cacheserie zeigt den Illak Wald in der Nähe von Pannonhalma.
Illak heißt das Waldgebiet zwischen Pannonhalma, Tarjánpuszta und Ravazd. Illak war früher eine unabhängige Siedlung, und existierte wahrscheinlich in 12. Jahrhundert. Diese Siedlung ist im Laufe der Geschichte verschwunden.
Heutzutage bezieht sich der Name Illak auf den Illak Wald. Auf diesen Wanderweg entlang der vorgegebenen Tour kannst Du viele „Zeugen der Zeit“ antreffen.
Wichtige Hinweise:
- Die Caches sind im Wald neben dem Wanderweg in einem Abstand von 20-30 m zu finden.
- Es kann vorkommen das Jäger im Wald sind. Dann ist es nicht zu empfehlen im Wald zu suchen und zu warten bis sie aus dem Wald gegangen sind. Meistens sind die Jäger im Oktober 1-2 Stunden vor Sonnenuntergang anzutreffen. Diese Termine (bzw. Zeit) sollten vermieden werden um Ärger aus dem Weg zu gehen.
- Bringe bitte einen eigenen Stift mit.
- Bitte trage lange Hosen, da es im Gelände teilweise sehr viele Dornen gibt, an denen man sich verletzen kann.
