Welcome to the Rockasaurus "Rock On" Inn!
Geology in Tucson AZ is strange. As the former bottom of a shallow sea that saw the coming of dinosaurs, mammalian life, and the occasional volcanic event, our strata is convoluted and very interesting-- just look at the local mountains!
This geocache is a fine place to start. Park, pause, and examine your surroundings; remember that all this was once underwater, and that what you stand on was once swam over by gigantic sea-creatures, prowled upon by sabre-toothed cats, stampeded across by mammoths, superheated by lava, and (much more recently) lived upon by ancient mankind.
The cache itself is meant as a place to send on small geocoins; it's an easy park-and-grab, placed with the permission and cooperation of the property-owner. Please hide it as well (or better) as you found it. There is room for small swag as well as coins; don't forget to sign and date the log!
Congrats to *Kenny V* for FTF!
