Standing under Walter Peak Which is 1800m in height on the Western side of Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown. You will find yourself on a high country homestead which is accessed by the Earnslaw from Queenstown or via the Mavora Lakes and Mt Nicholas roads which are public gravel roads. You will need to fill up in Mossburn or Te Anau first. Plenty of other caches along the way so its a good days outing. you will cross a couple of older wooden bridges a ford or two, may need to open and shut a gate or two along the way plus watch for some free roaming livestock at times.
The cache is a clear sistema container with a pill box inside and the log is in plastic bag you�will need your own pen or pencil to log.
