Geocache Description:

Welcome to SideTracked - Derriaghy!

This is a cache dedicated to the SideTracked series and I have put a Geocache here solely for my love for trains and the railway. The cache is a park and grab (parking coordinates are given.) I wouldn't call this cache a "cache and dash" I wouldn't recomend this cache for people who are more fraile or disabled as you do need to climb a small, steep hill. I do recomend you bring a writing implement but a small pencil is in the cache (If the pencil is not present or needs sharpened, please contact me via messaging or put a "needs maintenance" in your log!) I have also put it in this little lane because there isn't many muggles about. When you replace the cache please ensure it is tucked away and slightly covered.

As this is a SideTracked geocache, I do recommend that you take the train here, you can take Northern Ireland Railways here. From Londonderry/Derry, Larne, Portrush or Bangor, you can take the train to Great Victoria Street then change to the Portadown line and get off the train at Derriaghy. From Lisburn/ Portadown direction, Take the Bangor bound train. And from Ireland go to Lanyon Place (formally Belfast central) on the Enterprise train from Dublin Connolly, then get the Lisburn/ Portadown bound train.

If you have a question or an issue with this cache please contact me via messaging!

Happy caching!!!
