Geocache Description:

“Lake Trash” – A term of endearment I have for those of us who find ourselves lurking amongst the driftwood washed up on the shore of a lake, or who have adopted pastimes that bring them back to the water time after time.  This series of caches is dedicated to all things “lakey”... Lake Weatherford, all that surrounds it, and those of us who have chosen it for our home or occasional home away from home.

This area probably provides the prettiest view of Lake Weatherford and is also a popular fishing hole. The challenge here will be discretion. I suggest you blend in and try to look like you're scoping out a good fishing spot while trying to make the grab. On a fairly calm day, you can see some slight disturbances on the surface of the water in spots spread out across the deep end of the lake.  These spots occur where air bubbles to the surface from the aeration system installed in 2010. This action destratifies the water, helps to outgas the bottom of the lake and provides a healthier environment for aquatic animals.  It also makes the water taste better, important because Lake Weatherford is the primary water supply for the city of Weatherford and the surrounding area.

The container is very small but should be easy for a sharp eye to spot. Good luck... and BYOP!
