Geocache Description:

Listen to the hum of a train above the Djerring Trail.

As mentioned in the Railways Crossing Removal newsletter the community voted to name this new 17 kilometers of shared path which was created for cyclists and pedestrians from Caulfield to EastLink Trail following the railway line. The overwhelming winning name was the Djerring Trail. The word 'djerring' comes from the Bunurong language and translates to 'join', 'unite' or 'connect'.

This path has already become extremely popular for a stroll with the geodog and for bike traffic. This is a high muggle area so you have to look both ways. This is the second cache to be placed along this trail below the Skyrail and I'm sure there will be more.

The parking suggestion is probably one of many approaches to the cache apart from your bike! At GZ you will see a lot of possible spots for the cache - explains the name- you are looking for a 200ml Sistema container with log and pencil - Make sure you rehide deep from sight where you found it. There may be some interference from the train line for navigation There is a trackable I picked up overseas to move on inside to FTF- congratulations to LegoMan9X for FTF.
