Ferron Peach Days is the oldest continuous celebration in the state of Utah. In 1906, the first peach trees were proving the excellence of that fruit and were thriving so well there was promise of future abundance. The first Peach Days was held and peaches and cream were served. In 1912 the first large celebration was held. Invitations were sent to all the surrounding counties and Ferron people were asked to take the visitors into their homes and board them free of charge during the Friday and Saturday Peach Days.
