The Idan Observation Point is the most northerly observation point on the road to peace on the border between Israel and Jordan
The road to peace is the name of a fascinating journey that runs along the border between the State of Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan. Along theway, the visitors can enjoy the agricultural fields of Moshav Idan, Hatzeva and Ein Yahav, from the bird's-eye view of the Arava Stream and the Edom Mountains, the sight of the water reservoirs saturated with the Arava fields and tours of the picturesque features of the mud of the tongue.
From the observatory you can see the Idan reservoir, which is filled with water after floods, in the Arava river in the winter.
The observatory is relatively shaded by the sun, it is recommended to arrive in the morning or sunset at less hot hours. There are explanatory signs.
