Geocache Description:

It's another Bison Tube Hide in honor of a North Dakota State University National Championship. The Bison for the second time this decade went undefeated 15-0 apparently that had not been done in a while? Ask ESPN.. This team is coached by departing Chris Klieman who went on to be the head coach at Kansas State. A recent football victim of the thundering herd. There is also a giant senior class of 24 graduating, so who knows what will happen next year. As for this year, the team was one of destiny with it's closest game being against the rival South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the "Dakota Marker Trophy Game." It was a close game that the Bison edged out the Jack's.
-------------------------
From ESPN's Game Review: No. 1 seed North Dakota State (15-0) 38, No. 3 seed Eastern Washington (12-3) 24 Story Line: In adding back-to-back FCS titles to their legend, members of the largest senior class came in NDSU history came up big, including quarterback Easton Stick accounting for 319 total yards and five touchdowns and the game's most outstanding player, wide receiver Darrius Sheppard, catching 23- and 78-yard scores in the first four minutes of the third quarter. Game Balls: Stick not being named the MOP (sorry, it's not MVP) was a surprise. He carried the ball 18 times for 121 yards, with his late 46-yard touchdown run a show-stopper, and was 13 of 19 for 198 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. For Eastern Washington, running back Sam McPherson dented the Bison defense for 158 yards on 18 carries, including a 75-yard TD, and linebacker Chris Ojoh had 10 solo tackles and a sack among his 11 total stops. Key Stat: Eastern Washington has a quick-strike offense, but the defense doesn't need to be on the field for 40 minutes, 5 seconds, as it was against the Bison offense. Up Next: Both teams have to withstand the losses of big, influential senior classes -- NDSU's went 24 deep and Eastern Washington's at 27 players -- but they will be among the leading national title contenders in 2019. Matt Entz is the next NDSU head coach with Klieman taking the reins at Kansas State. FCS teams are allowed 12 regular-season games next season, with NDSU opening against Butler on Aug. 31 at Target Field in Minneapolis and Eastern Washington traveling to Washington on the same day.
