Welcome to the 2019 Winter 33 Puzzle Cache! - This puzzle is placed in conjunction with the NYS Parks Saratoga-Capital Region's 2019 Winter 33 series of winter geocaches, and you will find the corresponding letters/numbers to get the coordinates for the final container in 6 of the 12 regular Winter geocaches hidden along this loop trail in Thacher State Park! As you make the finds, pay close attention to the cache container cap (or log itself) to collect numbers to solve:

We would like to extend our faithful Geocachers a Winter Welcome to the Saratoga-Capital District New York State Parks! Back in its fifth year is the Winter 33 Series, and we truly hope you enjoy it! This year, 33 caches have been hidden at Moreau Lake State Park (ML), Grafton Lakes State Park (GL), and John Boyd Thacher State Park (JBT). Each cache has been hidden in a winter-friendly, meant-to-be-found manner, so have some seasonal fun and get on the trails at these beautiful New York State Parks, and don’t forget to bring a pen to sign the logs!
The Parks have variable hours of operation in the winter based on the time of sunset and staff availability, so call ahead if you’re not familiar with each Park’s schedule. You can find phone numbers for each Park, along with maps and other information at www.nysparks.com.
