The Doctor. They were going to dominate by using the Doctor. How unlucky. How unfair. The secret Society for the Prevention of Geocaches was going to play him/her for their evil plans. Maybe travel back to 2000 to stop that very first geocache.
What was I to do. There was the famous box. I opened it. Read the instructions. I plugged the pieces in to the slots. I was ready to go.
There was a dial. It spun into action.

Gold.
It started to move. It all flashed before my eyes. I thought I was too young to die.
It stopped. But no, this isn't the year 2000. I'm back in the time of the American Civil War.
Luckily, my beautiful plus one arrived in our little De Lorian to bring me back. Or was it a M2. This spinning was disorientating. I think we ended up in the sixties, because Doris Day was on the radio asking about her Mummy about something. I was hoping we weren't head back to the time of the pyramids. Or was her mummy asking Mr Friedman about economics? Would we end up in 2000? All this time hopping was confusing. It kept spinning, and I knew I couldn't stop until I had gotten to the end.
